Abstract:

Bu al mada, Türkiye’de üyelerinin o u slami kimli ini n plana karan i verenlerden olu an Konya MüS AD’a (Müstakil Sanayici ve I adamlar Derne i) ba l 6 irkette 24 i iyle ger ekle tirilen derinlemesine g rü melerden derlenen bulgular tart lmaktad r. al man n ilk k sm nda, geleneksel slami ba lam n günümüze de uzanan e itlik i/dayan mac er evesi k saca ele al nmaktad r. zleyen iki alt ba l k alt nda slam emsiyesi alt nda faaliyet g steren iki s n f olu umu olarak MüS AD ve Hak- ’e (Hak- Konfederasyonu) dair bilgiler zetlenmektedir. Daha sonra, alan al mas n n bulgular de erlendirilmektedir. Gerek din n al ma ya am ndaki i levselli i, gerekse sendikal rgütlenme konusundaki tutum ve g rü lerin beklenenin üstünde bir e itlilik arz etti i g rülmektedir. Bulgular, ilk k s mda zetlenen geleneksel kültürel rüntülerin nemli l üde devam etti ine i aret etmekle birlikte, sendikal rgütlenme ve s n f bilincinin serpilmekte oldu unu dü ündüren ifade ve yakla mlar n mevcudiyeti de kayda de er düzeylerdedir. This study examines the data collected through the interviews with 24 employees from 6 different MUSIAD member enterprises in Konya, Turkey, owned by the employers who put their Islamic identities forward. In the first part of the study, the egalitarian and solidarity oriented features of traditional Islam that’s been extended to date is discussed. The following two sub-parts provide a summary on MUSIAD and Hak-Is as two establishments based on class, under the umbrella of Islam. Afterwords, the data collected through the interviews are evaluated. The assessment reveals a great differentiation in the function of religion in work life and in the views and attitudes of employees regarding labor unions. The findings suggest that while the traditional cultural elements that are elaborated in the first part are still substantive today, there is also a growing consciousness of class and union among the employees.
