Los avatares de la pre-adolescencia: conflictos y propuestas para su transición

In the following article you will find a theoretical articulation about the most relevant conceptualizations in relation with adolescence and, specifically, with the first period of this development phase: the pre adolescence. For this purpose, an argumentative method was used and a theoretical psychoanalytic author′s review, which have given us a vast literature on this subject, mainly the American author Peter Blos. It describes the main differences observed in each of the opposite sex when faced up to pubertal maturation and instinctual intensification typical of this stage, their main difficulties and some interventional proposals for action related to parenting styles that determine and influence the development of subsequent disruption of genital devel-opment. As well, it presents a brief overview of the acting out meaning and value of the subject that moves from childhood to adulthood, which meaning can be attributed to it and how we understand it as a way out of facing obstacles which, many times, manages the non-facilitating environment in front of the differentiation urgency and the self for-mation. In conclusion, the article proposes a reconsideration of the adolescent symptom as a signal that something must change.
