Uniqueness of positive solutions to a class of semilinear elliptic equations

In this article, we consider the uniqueness of positive radial solutions to the Dirichlet boundary value problem Δ u + f ( | x | , u ) + g ( | x | ) x u = 0 , x ∈ Ω , u = 0 , x ∈ Ω , where Ω denotes an annulus in n (n ≥ 3). The uniqueness criterion is established by applying shooting method.
