APROXIMACIóN BIOARQUEOLóGICA SOBRE POBLACIONES DE LA PUNA ARGENTINA (PUNA MERIDIONAL Y PUNA SEPTENTRIONAL)

Bioarchaeology is a discipline that considers human remains as part of the archaelogycal context. Within this frame, this project proposes problems and hypotheses regarding heath state and disease in agropastoral societies that lived in two regions of Puna de Atacama during Late and Late-Inka periods: Antofagasta de la Sierra (Southern Puna, Argentina) and Jujuy′s Puna Eastern Sector (Northern Puna, Argentina). Our aim is to contribute to the knowledge of the dynamics of past agropastoral societies from an additional line of evidence.
