RESUMEN: Se aporta una visión actualizada de la situación de Festuca eskia Ramond ex DC. (Poaceae) en el macizo monta oso del Castro Valnera (extremo oriental de la Cordillera Cantábrica). Con ello se rectifica el error cometido por los mismos autores en un trabajo anterior. Como homenaje a Pierre Dupont (descubridor de F. eskia en dicho macizo) se a ade una biografía sucinta y un listado bibliográfico de sus publicaciones relacionadas con la flora de la Península Ibérica. SUMMARY: Festuca eskia Ramond ex DC. in the massif of Castro Valnera (eastern end of the Cantabrian Mountains). Correction of an error that wants to be also a tribute. This work provides an updated picture of the situation of the Festuca eskia Ramond ex DC. (Poaceae) within the mountain range of Castro Valnera (eastern end of the Cantabrian Mountains, N Spain). Thereby, the mistake made by the same authors in a previous work, is corrected. As a tribute to Pierre Dupont (discoverer of F. eskia in the above mentioned mountain range) a brief biography as well as a bibliographic list of his publications related to the flora of the Iberian Peninsula, are now enclosed.
