Russian-Kazakh Literary Ties in the Х Х Century

The paper examines the influence of Russian literature on the development of Kazakh literature in the XIX century. Aesthetic values that have formed in the western literature penetrate into the Kazakh language the translations of Russian classical writers works into the Kazakh language. The influence of translated works on on the prose genre was proved. The authors attach special attention to the translations by Abay Kunanbayev, Shakarim Kudaiberdiev, Ibray Altynsarin.
