Determination and Study of Main Biological Features of Pseudomonas sp. Phytopathogenic Bacteriophages

The article studies main biological features (host range, virion morphology and sensitivity to different environmental factors) of phytopathogenic Pseudomonas sp. bacteriophages. Pfl14 and Pfl17 phages were attributed to Syphoviridae family. The resistance of these phages to heating and UV-irradiation, as well as stability in a number of solutions and tapwater was shown. These features are considered important for practical application of phages in natural environment.
