Performance y experiencia turística del Tambor de Crioula en S o Luís de Maranh o - Brasil Tourist Performance and Experience in the Tambor de Crioula of Sao Luis (Maranhao, Brazil)

El presente artículo busca analizar la performance turística del Tambor de Crioula, expresión cultural de la ciudad de S o Luís, Maranh o. Aborda las relaciones entre patrimonio cultural e identidad, discutiendo las transformaciones de los elementos escénicos y rituales de ese entretenimiento popular. Basándose en la investigación bibliográfica y en la observación sistemática de campo, y recorriendo los conceptos de hibridismo cultural (Canclini, 2000), autenticidad (Getz, 2001) y teoría de la performance (Schechnner, 2003), se constató que el Tambor de Crioula aparece como la recreación de una memoria étnica específica para grupos de visitantes al tiempo que fortalece los lazos de pertenencia cultural en un movimiento circular de intercambio, el cual se potencia y se concreta por medio del turismo. This article analyses the tourist performance of Tambor de Crioula, expression of Sao Luis, Maranhao. It addresses the relationship between cultural heritage and identity, discussing the transformation of theatrical elements and rituals that popular entertainment. Based on literature research and systematic observation and field, using the notions of cultural hybridity (Canclini: 2000), authenticity (Getz: 2001) and performance theory (Schechnner: 2003), it was found that the Tambor de Crioula figure how to re update a memory for specific ethnic groups of visitors, the time it strengthens the ties of belonging to a movement of cultural circularity, exchange and swap, which is strengthened and made concrete through tourism.
