Oral text is a very complicated object. It brings forth many verbal and non-verbal code, whose connections one must read in order to entirely comprehend; it not they seem "inferior" to written text. Its pragmatism, or more geneally, its semiotics, make oral text a dramatic event, related to the stage and even to play, as suggested by J. M. Lotman, whose essay "Semiotica della scena", Strumenti critici, 44 (1981), this article discusses.
