This article reflects about the cultural patrimony and the changes occurred in the city of Joinville/SC during the 20th century.Assuming the perspective of the gender category in the historical analysis, we are problematizing, with support of the oral historymethodology, female memories about histories of different places,institutions, periods and daily practices lived in the city.
