This article aims at reflectingon population mobility in the studies ofSocial Sciences. In Geography, it has atransdisciplinary nature which legitimizesthe use of concepts such as mobility (offorce) of labour and social mobility. Theseconcepts bring up conceptual confusionand weaknesses to be overcome by instrumentaltheory of mobility which iscontextualized in this study.
