The text aims to contribute to the migratorystudies under the optics of two methodologicalexperiences related to Oral History. The first experiencereports itself to a research developed with the children ofrural workers, temporary migrants from Maranh o to theS o Paulo sugar cane cultures in the region of Ribeir oPreto/SP. The second is the result of a research withnortheasterns permanent migrants to the city of Ibaté/SP,pertaining to the same region.
