The paper represents a consideration of the influence of G.W.F. Hegel s dialectical method on Marx s analysis of the debate over Jewish political rights in 19th Century Germany. As a follow on, I will consider how Marx s analytical insights and perversions on The Jewish Question may provide us with guidance towards an enriched understanding of the currently confounded standoff between the State of Israel and the Palestinian independence movement.
