Pautas de consumo doméstico en las tierras de la Mancha Oriental (1620-1850) [Domestic consume norms in East Mancha Region (1620-1850)]

Resumen: En este artículo pretendemos analizar las pautas del consumo doméstico, a través del estudio de las dotes matrimoniales e inventarios post mortem, desde mediados del siglo XVII hasta la primera mitad del siglo XIX. Y es que los cambios que se suceden en el siglo XIX, no pueden explicarse sin recurrir al consumo doméstico y su papel en el desarrollo económico, tanto en la ciudad como en el medio rural. Los más de dos siglos que abarca este trabajo los consideramos esenciales, dado que desde la historiografía internacional se apunta la idea de una revolución del consumo en el siglo XVIII, si bien los últimos estudios realizados hablan de tiempos anteriores. Para llevar a cabo este análisis se han utilizado una gran variedad de fuentes: protocolos notariales, actas municipales, fuentes fiscales, inventarios de bienes, dotes/hijuelas y testamentos. Las villas objeto de este trabajo pertenecían al Corregimiento de Alcaraz, en la antigua provincia de La Mancha. Abstract: We pretend to analyze in this article the domestic consume norms, through the marriage dowry studies and post mortem inventories, from the middle of XVII Century to the end of the XVIII. Domestic consume has an important role in the economic transformation of XIX Century, both in town and rural areas. This fieldwork covers these two centuries, which are considered very important, even the international historiography ranges over the idea of consume revolution in the XVIII Century, although recent studies point out this fact was in earlier times. In the course of this analysis, many sources have been taken into account: affidavits, local minutes, fiscal sources, dowries and wills. The villages studied belonged to Alcaraz Corregimiento in the antique Mancha Province.
