Gerenciamento dos Resíduos de Aulas Práticas de Química

The activities of laboratories have always been demands of university students and even high school. In schools where lessons were practical of laboratories, especially in the area of chemistry, very little is talked about the care of the waste generated in laboratories, this concern has become from the 90’s. Today, care of waste generated in laboratory practical is a prerequisite for environmental protection in addition to theoretical activities. This paper presents simple activities of management and treatment of waste generated in the practical lessons of Chemistry Course (UFSCar). In the study was used the waste itself as reagents in the treatment of toxic metals and other hazardous environmentally substances. The results showed an excellent regeneration of the treated material, minimizing the toxicity of products, greatly increasing the amount of new experiences.
