DETERMINATION OF SPACE AND TIME OF IQA THE SOLEDADE RESERVOIR IN SOLEDADE

This study used the Water Quality Index (IQA) and aimed to evaluate the water quality of the Reservoir of Soledade, in Soledade, the state of Paraiba. The study was conducted in the years 2008 and 2009, when they were assessed the physical, chemical and biological parameters. The results showed that the waters of the Reservoir of Soledade can be classified as being acceptable CETESB, although some parameters when compared with environmental laws aren’t in accordance with the determined standards of quality set by CONAMA Resolution 274/2000 and 357/05 to brackish water class one, two fresh and salty.
