A comparative Study on the Design and Characteristic Performances of DICON made Guns in Nigeria

This paper provides insights into the designs and characteristic performances of different types of guns made by the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON), through comparative analysis of their data facts as obtained from surveys at the company with corresponding similar gun types designed and produced by reputable manufacturers in other nations of the world. Generally, the guns produced by the corporation have been found to be of high and comparable performance capabilities with the best similar types elsewhere in the world, inspite of design variations between them.
