Ottoman Empire and Foreign Policy According to the Articles of Babanzade smail Hakk which are Published in Tanin Newspaper (1911)

One of the important writers’ of Tanin, Babanzade smail Hakk wrote a lot articles in 1911 about Otoman Empire and developments in the world. Babanzade smail Hakk tried to show Ottoman Empire’s place in World Politics, and he also brought out the effects of these political developments on Ottoman Empire. Babanzade smail Hakk observed closely the events in Europe, Middle East, Far East and made these events subject of his articles, he sometimes specified the damages given to Ottoman Empire by these developments and sometimes he gave important advices, each one as a cure, for the Empire’s problems. The purpose of this study, is to reflect impressions of an Otoman Intellectual about the foreign policy before World War I.
