QSAR STUDY ON ISONICOTINOYLHYDRAZONES AS ANTIMYCOBACTERIAL AGENTS

QSAR study was used to relate the selective mycobacterial inhibitory activity of isonicotinylhydrazones with various physicochemical desecrators. Stepwise multiple regression analysis was performed to find out correlation between various physicochemical descriptors and biological activity of the compounds by using chem. office version 6. and valstat statistical software. Out of several equations developed the best equation having heights significance was selected for further study. The equations are able to exaplian 80% of total variance and are more than 95% significance as revealed by the F value.
