CONFIABILIDAD DE UN CUESTIONARIO PARA RASTREO DE TRASTORNO DE APRENDIZAJE (CEPA) EN NI OS EN EDAD ESCOLARKeywords: learning disabilities , CEPA , and reliability. Abstract: The assessment questionnaires are basic toolsused in research or in programs geared to theearly, simple, and fast detection of a sicknessin the general population, with a high level ofaccepted reliability and validity. Objective: todetermine the reliability of an assessmentquestionnaire dealing with learningdisabilities; which makes easy the detection ofchildren who are more likely to have learningdisabilities. Patients and Methods: a randomsample of 681 children was chosen; theybelonged to the 3rd and 4th socio-economicstrata, aged 8 and 11, of primary basicschooling education, from 4 educationalinstitutions of a neighboring village of theMetropolitan Area of Medellin and whowillingly decided to participate in the study.From this population, a non-random sample of80 individuals was taken who met theinclusion criteria to carry out a pilot test. Thequestionnaire comprises 39 items comprising8 frequent areas of difficulties. It is designed toassess the cognitive and language processes.
