Dünyada Ve Türkiye’de Think Tank Kurulu lar : Kar la t rmal Bir Analiz

The basic aim of this study is examining perceptions about think tanks in the world and Turkey. In the fist chapter of the study, the think tank phenomenon is reviewed conceptually and historically. After this phase, a comparative analysis of the think tanks in the world is conducted. In the last chapter of the study, think tank perceptions in USA and Turkey is discussed. The thesis defended in this study, which takes on the above mentioned shape substantially; is that the Turkey left behind about think tanks compared to developed countries and this situation should be changed.
