Tiempo, política y hospitalidad. Una reflexión desde Derrida y Lévina

In this work we approach the interrelationship between time, politics and hospitality, taking as an interpretive base the treatment that such concepts receive in the thought of Derrida and Lévinas. The central approach can express saying that, as Derrida says to us, a correct interpretation of Lévinas’s position leads us to admitting that the hospitality is the ethics herself. It thinks, from this budget, that the opening other one that makes possible the hospitality prevents that the subjectivity remains caught in an strategy of impoverishment and of self-reference. En este trabajo abordamos la interrelación entre tiempo, política y hospitalidad, tomando como base interpretativa el tratamiento que tales conceptos reciben en el pensamiento de Derrida y Lévinas. El planteamiento central puede expresarse diciendo que, tal como nos dice Derrida, una interpretación correcta de la posición de Lévinas nos lleva a reconocer que la hospitalidad es la eticidad misma. Se considera, a partir de este presupuesto, que la apertura al otro que hace posible la hospitalidad impide que la subjetividad quede atrapada en una empobrecedora estrategia autorreferencial.
