The development of control and monitoring computer systems for energetic systems requires studies regarding the present state of the sollutions offered by the Buchholz relay field. Our paper is aimed at presenting the Bucholz relay implementation and integration in SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) of energetic system substations with a view to the use of new computer generations.
