Analytical Models of Switched Reluctance Motor Based on Two Dimensions Finite Element Analysis Results

In the paper three analytical models ofswitched reluctance motor (SRM) based on twodimensions finite element method (2D-FEM) resultsare discussed. For an existing and tested sample SRMthe flux linkage and the torque characteristics werecalculated via all considered models and the resultswere compared with the finite element method (FEM)analysis based calculated characteristics. Finally themerits and the weak points of each model wereevinced.
