The role of the project-knowledge in IS development

With rising complexity of information system declines its understandability and become less easy to handle it. Project knowledge have therefore important role in management, maintenance and the modification of complex software systems. The paper is organized as follows. The first part analyzes present state of the most used technologies during the software development from the view of a programmer and an analyst and possible relations between them to keep knowledge about software system together with understandable state. In the second part is proposed concept of information system architecture driven by project knowledge.
