The effectiveness of treatment with enoxaparin in lichen planus

Objectives: As it is known, the low doses of Heparin’sanalogues have the antiproliferative and immunomodulatoractivities. This research aims to evaluate the activity ofenoxaparin by using the low doses.Materials and methods: 21 patients with lichen planusdiagnosis have been cured within 12 weeks. 3 mg ofenoxaparin has been used for subcutaneus injection toall of patients weekly. The efficient and reliable data hasbeen saved.Results: The perfect recovery has been observed 15(71%) of 21 patients, the distinct recovery has been observed4 (19%) of 21 patients. The treatment has notgiven response on 2 (9%) of 21 patients. The best scorehas been received on acute generalized type of LichenPlanus.Conclusions: As the result; it has been reported thatenoxaparin treatment can be an effective choice in LichenPlanus medication.
