These tumors arise inmany places throughout the body. The chest wall, larynx,abdomen, and pelvis being the most common primarysites; in rare cases, they occur in the head and neck area.Only 3% of cases have been reported within the skull andjaws. In this report, a rare case of primitive neuroectodermaltumor in the left side posterior mandible in a youngadult is described.
