A Study on Graph Theoretical Algorithms in Grid Environment

Computers have become incrediblysmaller, cheaper and numerous since the last decade.Interconnecting them, results in a computer network.We say that two computers are interconnected if theycan exchange information. Two computers are said tobe autonomous, if one does not control the other. Acomputer network is an interconnected collection ofautonomous computers. Connection of two or moredistinct networks results in internetworking.Sometimes, a computer network is also called as adistributed network. Strictly speaking, a distributedsystem is a computer network with a high degree ofcohesiveness.Networks satisfy a broad range ofpurposes and meet various requirements. Facilitatingcommunications, sharing hardware, files, data,information and software are some of the commonobjectives of computer communication networks.
