HUMAN FACTORS IN THE QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEERINGKeywords: human factor , maintenance Abstract: The safe use of aircrafts can be assured by maintaining suitability for use in the air as a result of the high-standard maintenance. The Part 145 of the Decree of the European Commission EASA 2042/2003/EK requires the qualification of affected persons in the field of knowledge relating to human factors and analyses mistakes made by people. The importance of human factors is indicated by the proportion between accidents and aircraft events resulted by mistakes made by people and taken place for technical reasons of 4 to 1. Analyzing the causes an important risk is that employees are not enough qualified for the professional operation of techniques, their knowledge superficial and they are not completely aware of the operation of an apparatus, they do not know any example for behavior, the system of their contact is imperfect and the information flow keeps stalling because of the wrong solutions for organization. Maintenance errors are resulted not only by concrete errors causing an event, but also they can be attributed to hidden causes or workplace, organizational and environmental effects.
