STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF THE WEIGHT OF LARGE CITIES IN THE URBAN SYSTEM

Significant elements of the urban system are the large cities, in Hungarian relation they are the cities with county right. In this paper we examine the relation between the higher education sector and large cities on the basis of representative statistical data. The weight of large cities is determined in regional and national relation.
