QMS in Organizations: An Overview

Abstract:

Perfection is elusive but it can and doesrepresent an enviable goal. More importantly, the conceptof perfection helps everyone in the organizations todevelop a working model to maximize excellent service atevery level. To achieve perfection, organizations mustmaintain & enhance their standards to ensure that thequality of their products and services are meeting theircustomer’s requirements. For the sake of these everincreasing requirements organizations nowadays mustfollow an appropriate quality management system (QMS)with an objective of identifying and prioritize customerrequirements and translate these requirements intoappropriate company requirements at each stage of theproduct life cycle. This paper attempts to renew variousQMS in a comprehensive manner in order to effectivelysupport the organization to retrieve perfection from theiremployees.
