Evocación poética de un refugio Pabellón “Gimme Shelter!”

Colombian architecture Hugo Mondragón, together with his Chilean partner Sebastián Irarrázabal put together a proposal to represent Chile en the 2011 Hong Kong and Shenzhen Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism. This paper presents a reading of the pavilion, which has been inspired more by the original idea that the project was based on than by the architecture. The material used by the architects is shaped by the plans of the construction phase, the links to magazines and press releases that their proposal registers in the exhibition, as well as photographs taken by Cristóbal Palma during the performance of the experiment.
