Raimundo de Oliveira: um místico entre os modernos

O presente artigo é parte de um estudo teórico desenvolvido ao longo do curso de Mestrado em Artes Visuais. O Texto trata de uma análise da poética do artista plástico Raimundo de Oliveira, através das suas rela es com o espa o, a cultura popular e a religi o. Para isso, foram apresentados vários pontos referentes à religiosidade vivenciada pelo artista destacando a hipótese de que o mesmo transfere para suas telas o desejo de permanecer num espa o místico e sagrado, evidência que tenta explicar sua fixa o pela temática religiosa.The present article is part of a developed theoretical study throughout the course of Master’s in Visual Arts. The Text deals with an analysis of poetical of the artist Raimundo de Oliveira, through its relations with the space, the popular culture and the religion. For this, some referring points to the religiosity lived deeply from the artist had been presented detaching the hypothesis that the same is transferred to his screens, like the desire to remain in a mystic and sacred space, evidence that tries to explain histhematic setting for the religious theme.
