The photographic language and the painting of artists from Bahia at late Nineteenth and early twentieth Century ///// A linguagem fotográfica e a pintura de artistas baianos no final do século XIX início do século XX

Este artigo é parte de uma pesquisa teórica desenvolvida no Mestrado de Artes Visuais, linha de pesquisa em História da Arte Brasileira. O texto tem como finalidade analisar a assimila o da linguagem fotográfica na pintura dos artistas baianos: Manuel Lopes Rodrigues (1860 – 1917), Presciliano Silva (1883 – 1965) e Alberto Valen a (1890 – 1983). Estes pintores durante forma o acadêmica na Europa absorveram as tendências impressionistas da época. Para isso, foi necessário, também, abordar fatos históricos referentes ao movimento impressionista francês e assim como o surgimento da fotografia nas primeiras décadas do sec. XIX, aliado as transforma es significativas que a Revolu o Industrial trouxe para sociedade europeia, fato que provocou mudan as expressivas no olhar dos artistas deste período.///// This article is part of a theoretical research developed in the Master of Visual Arts, line of research in the History of Brazilian Art.The text aims to analyze the assimilation of photographic language in painting of artists from Bahia: Manuel Lopes Rodrigues (1860 - 1917), Presciiano Silva (1883 - 1965) and Alberto Valen a (1890-1983). These painters during academic trends in Europe absorbed the Impressionists of the time. Therefore, it was also necessary to show the historical facts concerning the French impressionist movement and as the invention of photography in the early decades of the century. XIX, allied to the significant changes that the Industrial Revolution has brought to European society, a fact which caused significant changes in the eyes of artists from this period.
