Este trabalho diz respeito ao estudo das representa es dos arranha-céus nas charges de J. Carlos, coletadas nas revistas ilustradas Careta e Para Todos entre 1927 e 1943. Nessa época o processo acelerado da verticaliza o da cidade transmite sensa es psicodélicas e vertiginosas aos seus usuários. Essa paisagem futurista altera a experiência perceptiva do indivíduo na metrópole.A percep o do mundo como representa o, formado através das séries de discursos que o estruturam leva a uma reflex o sobre o modo como essa configura o pode ser apropriada pelos fruidores das imagens que d o a ver e a pensar o real. Opera-se o interesse de pesquisar as práticas de frui o, ou seja, o processo por intermédio do qual é produzido historicamente um sentido e construída diferenciadamente uma significa o. O estudo das imagens se desenvolverá dentro da perspectiva de uma vis o mais ampla da história da arterelacionada à perspectiva da cultura visual. ///// This work concerns the study of Skyscrapers representations in J. Carlos’cartoons, collected in the illustrated magazines “Careta” and “Para Todos”, between 1927 and 1943. At that time, the accelerated process of verticalization of the city transmits psychedelic sensations to your users. This landscape futuristic change the perceptual experience of the human being in the metropolis. The perception of the world as a representation, formed by the series of discourses that structure it, leads to a reflection about the way how this configuration can be appropriated by the consumers of these images,in order to see and think of the real. The research interest is to discern the practices of fruition, i.e. the process through which a meaning is historically produced and a signification is differently constructed. The imagery study will be developed within the perspective of a broader view of the art history, related with the visual culture viewpoint.
