Abstract: Air pollution is a significant factor in morbidity and mortality within industrial society. Lipid peroxidation levels studied in workers involved in construction. The antioxidant enzymes like glutathione peroxidase, superoxide dismutase, catalase and the antioxidant scavengers like Vitamin A, E, C and reduced glutathione activities revealed highly fascinating informations. This study has provided further support that component of particulate matter causes oxidative damage. The particulate matter sample is more active and possesses the potential prooxidant activity. The present investigation is aimed to study the effect of cement dust on the Masons.
