MOVIMIENTO ESTUDIANTIL E INTELECTUALIDAD REFORMISTA EN ARGENTINA (1918-1946) STUDENT MOVEMENT AND REFORMIST INTELLIGENTZIA IN ARGENTINA (1918-1946)

Este artículo ofrece una reconstrucción historiográfica del movimiento estudiantil argentino de la Reforma Universitaria -que se inició en Córdoba en 1918 e influyó sobre estudiantes e intelectuales de Chile, Perú, Colombia y otros países de América Latina- y propone una interpretación: en el período de entreguerras, el movimiento reformista fue un movimiento social. Su declive como movimiento social se correlaciona con el fin de la segunda guerra mundial y el nacimiento del peronismo. This article provides a reconstruction of the historiographical argentine student movement of the University Reform, which started in Cordoba in 1918 and influenced students and intellectuals from Chile, Feru, Colombia and other countries of Latin America - and proposes an interpretation: in the interwar period, the reform movement was a social movement. Its decline as a social movement correlates with the end of the second world war and the birth of Peronism.
