Development of Bioassay for a therapeutic Protein obtained from Recombinant Escherichia Coli.

The genetically matured streptokinase has been improved thrombolytic activity. Streptokinase was identified by SDS page and the Endotoxin level was found to be less than the level as mentioned in British Pharmacopeia. The percentage purity was found to be 99.1%. Recombinant Streptokinase gives more result which may be clinically symptomatic Purification and quantification protein was done by using HPLC and Western blot Activity is verified by Chromogenic end point assay. Advance technique like kinetic assay (LAL’s method) hadbeen used for determination of exact level of Endotoxin. Sterility test had been done before formulation by varying using Membrane method.
