This article is based on the first chapter of master thesis in Philosophy titled The cinema as machine of thought, a historical and critical account about the way in which the film has been representedin their possibilities as an autonomous, thinking machine, due to its way to represent the world in terms of space, time and causal relationships, through visual images and sound taken from reality. Its articulation to other devices for calculation or for the management of data, bring about the recreation of utterly technocratic machines and societies within the genre of sciencefiction. In the study of current societies of control, fantasy seems to have reached such large spaces in reality.
