Encierra, en la historia, el deseo innato del hombre por intentar encontrar un significado a su existencia o lograr una identidad que no es tan sólo física o biológica. Ciencia, racionalidad y creencia se unifican para tratar, de hecho, de encontrar una explicación al problema del hombre. El ámbito de la creencia, objeto de la teología, tiene mucho en común con los por qués de la filosofía. Las preguntas sobre Dios son, al mismo tiempo, las preguntas sobre el hombre”. Abstract: The concept of God is a key word in the history of philosophy. It encloses, in history, man’s innate desire to give meaning to his existence or to achieve an identity that is not only physical or biological. Science, rationality and faith get together to try to find a solution to the problem of man. The realm of faith, the object of theology, has much in common with the whys of philosophy. The questions concerning God are also questions about man.
