Study and optimization of high-bit rate optical fiber transmission

In this article, we present the modeling of an optical communication link using the optical standard single-mode fiber working at X = 1.55 т single wavelength The simulation confirmed the experimental characteristics like the photo detector sensibility, bit error rate (BER), the eye pattern, as well as the limitations and the performance of such optical transmission system.
