Figurino, moda e luxo no filme Zuzu Angel

Abstract:

O artigo analisa o figurino de cinema a partir do filme Zuzu Angel (Sergio Rezende, 2006), e discute como é representada a obra desta designer brasileira de roupas das décadas de 60 e 70, sob o aspecto da rela o de seu trabalho com as idéias de moda e luxo. Destaca a trajetória da equipe de produ o do figurino do filme e a repercuss o das suas escolhas em cenas-chave desta produ o audiovisual. Para tanto, trabalha com a contextualiza o histórica, a narrativa cinematográfica e com os conceitos de figurino de cinema, moda e luxo. Como suporte teórico, recorre às obras de, Michel Pastoureau, para as análises dos tecidos, de Jean-Jacques Roubine, Deborah Nadoolman Landis e Marcel Martin, sobre o papel do figurino na dramaturgia e no cinema, e Gilles Lipovetsky sobre os conceitos de moda e luxo. This article analyzes the film costumes from the film Zuzu Angel (Sergio Rezende, 2006) and discusses how it represented the work of this important Brazilian designer fashion from the 60s and 70s, under the aspect of its work in relation to the ideas of fashion and luxury. Its highlights the choices of the production team of the film’s costume design, and the repercussions of those choices on the outcome of key scenes of this historical narrative. For that, deal with the historical context, narrative film and the concepts of costumes design, fashion and luxury. As a theoretical framework, draws on the works of Michel Pastoureau, for analysis of the tissues, Jean-JacquesRoubine, Deborah Nadoolman Landis and Marcel Martin, on the role of costume design in the drama and film, and Gilles Lipovetsky on the concepts of fashion and luxury.
