Análisis de Se ales EMG Superficiales y su Aplicación en Control de Prótesis de Mano. Keywords: Wavelets Analysis , Myoelectric Control , Hand Prosthesis , EMGs Signals Abstract: The surface Electromyographic signals (EMGS) are appropriate source of information to virtual devices control as the hand prosthesis. The reasons to use this signals obey to different aspects as: the simplicity to collect samples of the signal, the respect for the integrity of the person who uses the prosthesis, the reusability of the device from one person to another, and the easiness to remove it for maintenance or calibration purposes. This article presents a review of the most used techniques in analysis and extraction of discriminant features from the EMGs driving signals in order to apply them in virtual hand prosthesis control, emphasizing in the evolutionfrom the classic temporal techniques to the most recent spectraltechniques based on the wavelets transformed and, its acceptance to process this kind of signals according to their performance in the classification and carrying out of movements over the prosthesis. As well, it makes reference to the most recent works on development and research in the biomedical signals EMGs processing field and its applications in myoelectric control.
