INFLUENCE OF VISCOPLASTIC PROPERTIES OF GROUND ON THE BEHAVIOR OF THE BASEKeywords: base of structures , numerical modelling , elastoplastic deformation , filtration consolidation , creep Abstract: Statement of the problem. The calculation of core structures should consider as many prominent features of ground as possible and the technology factors affecting the stress-strain state of the base. In this regard, the aim of this work is to develop computational and theoretical apparatus, software and calculation methods to predict the deformation and load-carrying capacity of bases, given the plastic and rheological properties (filtration consolidation, creep) of ground.Results. The stress-strain state of ground is described using a modified Cam-Clay model along with the model of filtration consolidation by Florin Biot and the Duvaut-Lions viscoplastic model. The algorithm and the program of the method of finite elements for the calculation of processes of viscoplastic deformations of bases in the three-dimensional setting were developed. A numerical modelling of the behavior of the “ground-base” system was performed.Conclusions. Based on the results of numerical modelling, the influence of rheological properties of ground on the deformation and the bearing capacity of ground at loading by a rigid stamp device was revealed. The calculations performed have indicated the efficiency of the developed algorithm.
