Effective learning stratgies to support children's construction of science concepts

This article provides ways of eliciting children's previous understanding of science: drawing of conept maps, annotated drawings and concept cartoons. Besides, there are suggestions of effective learning strategies to support children in learning science concepts which include: simulations, comic cartoons, toys, analogies and games.
