Dopo la Philosophie als strenge Wissenschaft. Un’altra fenomenologia nel periodo di WeimarKeywords: Phenomenology , Philosophy , Physiology , Edmund Husserl , Gestalt Psychology Abstract: After Husserl’s “Philosophy as Rigorous Science”. Another Kind of Phenomenology in the Era of Weimarer Republic - After the publication of Philosophie als strenge Wissenschaft, Husserl sustained an ever more radically pure ideal of phenomenology. Such an ideal would become philosophically successful in the time of the Weimarer Republic. Conversely, abiding by the work of Brentano, Stumpf and Hering, the Berlin School subscribed to a combination of empirical research, philosophical reflection, phenomenology and physiology until the thirties in the twentieth century. The two orientations are therefore quite different. In this paper the characteristics, backgrounds and implications of these two different phenomenological orientations are illustrated and discussed.
