How to choose the adequate local anesthetics for different situations on everyday dentistry? Keywords: local anesthetic , vasoconstrictors , procedures , patients. Abstract: The local anesthesia is the reversible blockade of the nervousimpulse that induces the sensations’ loss without changing theconscience level. Most of dentists choose only one local anestheticsfor all clinic procedures. The standardization of the same solutionanesthetics for all procedures does not always satisfy the clinicalneeds and the patients’ well being. Because of this, based on theliterature review, the aim of this study was to present the adequatelocal anesthetics for different clinical procedures and the severalpatients’ systemic situations. Our suggestion for the dentist is tokeep in his office more than one local anesthetics with vasoconstrictors and at least one solution without vasoconstrictors.
