EVALUACIóN DEL PATRóN DE CONDUCTA TIPO C Y SU RELACIóN CON EL CONTROL EMOCIONAL EN PACIENTES ONCOLóGICOSKeywords: Cancer , Emotional Control , Type C Pattern of Behavior Abstract: The purpose of this investigation was to assess the dimensions that make up the Type C pattern (Amaya & Gordillo, 2004) and its relationship with emotional control, based on a sample of 35 patients with cancer. The research method was quantitative type with transectional descriptive- correlational design. To assess the variables was used the Type C Personality Test (PCTC) and the Emotional Control Courtauld Scale (CECS). Subsequently analysis was conducted on the results obtained and finally correlated the results of the PCTC and CECS. Results show high levels in Need for Harmony, Understanding and Non emotional expression, in addition to this, was found significant correlation with the CECS and its subscales, the anger and sadness control showed a significant correlation with the Type C pattern.
