“MI PADRE FIGURA” APROXIMACIóN CUALITATIVA AL SIGNIFICADO DE LA IMAGEN CORPORAL EN UNA JOVEN DE LA CIUDAD DE NEIVA

The present article provides an overview of body image in a young girl from Neiva (Colombia). In the studied was found that the meaning of body image is composed for three elements: social speech, the rejection of the father figure and the construction of femininity. Finally it highlights the need to create opportunities and foster real actions of body acceptance in all social contexts for young population.
