We can imagine a direct application of philosophical theories and models to ameliorate the theoretical instruments of medicine itself. Philosophy can furnish elaborated means to elucidate the problem of medical mistakes and fallacies. Moreover it can contribute to clarify the precise distinction between the various typologies of causality which can be found in medical practice and theorization. It can still focus the question of probability and credence in medicine and give precise theoretical suggestions for a more articulated arrangement of some defined medical concepts.
